A re-entering cargo ship with 12 heat-resistant test capsules.
The 12 heat-resistant test capsule flew out of the International Space Station (ISS) aboard the cargo ship Cygnus XL. The re-entry experiment KREPE-3 plans to use the process of the cargo ship’s decomposition in the atmosphere to obtain flight data from 3D printed shields, fibrous thermal protective materials and deployment shields.
